Cute = Ugly, but adorable?

I went to my regular facial place today and a new beautician attended to me. As usual, they would try to make some small talk with their clients whereas I would actually prefer to just enjoy the pampering session in silence.

So this was our conversation in Cantonese:

Beautician: So, are you still studying?

Me: Studying?! I have been working for many years already!

Beautician: Really? How old are you?

Me: I am past 30 already lah.

Beautician: Huh?! I would not have known that! I thought you are still studying!

Me: *secretly smiling inside*

Beautician: Do other people often mistake you for being a student?

Me: Erm, not really. Perhaps once or twice on some random occasions.

Beautician: Really ah? Well, I really thought that you are still studying! 

Me: *still secretly smiling inside*

Beautician: Your baby fat is really cute hor?

Me: ..... uhm.


At this point, I wasn't so sure whether it is a compliment anymore. 

I have cute baby fats?

Waaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh!!!

I have decided. 
I shall laugh it off, like this Roti Ketawa and be thankful that at least I have CUTE baby fats!
Hahahaha!
